spells are for early game. if you go a build with spells... dont let it get to mid or late game.

Also pick at least one late game skill in case it does get to late.

or you can use weak constitution and get an atma beam.

I will look into the rag quest; I'm sure at least 1 of the variables I forgot to change.

Apparantly if you die right before duel with rein, and u reincarate in the duel then after you die you dont come back, ever. So basically you die, rein in the duel with less than full health and then when u die there you don't come back. Just happened in most recent version.

Also someone mentioned that they got the flag and could keep getting money over and over (as if the flag wouldnt drop) not sure if that was fixed or if anyone else mentioned it.

One other thing i found, this isnt really a bug but its kinda bad. If you get summons, at the start u can spawn them outside the flames, then send them out to the creep spawns. I got to lvl 2 before the game even started.

I found one yesterday but forgot to save the replay. Anyways if somebody disconnects and your dead you don't revive ever. Conditions for this bug I was red focused first in duel they disconnected via dsyn or error I fotget which, I never revived this was the beta4 or whatever one that Wrath newly downloaded last night.

-You could still do skele whether fire is there or not
-People seem to not revive ever at times, doesnt matter whether its in the duel or ganked.
-Also, when someone is doing rag you can't do it, but if someone attempts rag and dies during it, it still doesn't let the other team do it (this could possibly be due since the rag creeps are still alive)
-It also didnt let team two redo the rag hopefully that gets fixed, seems like the rag messes stuff up

careful, alright, I will look into. Ive been having other problems concerning people who desync. Strange that YOU wouldnt revive though... Did you die from getting killed, or when they left, did your hero go bye-bye?

Fixing the summon before timer ends.

The rag bug, have you seen it happen to team 1? I have done it as team 1 dozens of times, but heard that team 2 is having problems. (the rag quest is ~80 triggers, to narrow it down to 40 will be helpful)

Also i found the problem mentioned earlier, where a guy randoms and so the rest of your unchosen skills are randomed. I don't know if this is bc wrathbot is hosting the old vers or not tho. A guy in that game also said he was having trouble repicking.

Back to Glorn:

Revive happened on two occasions
1) I ganked a guy outside of a duel who died. He didnt revive, he even waited till the duel and still he didnt revive (so the duel ended up being a 2v1)
2) A guy died from creeps right before duel but had rein. He rein in the duel (so he wasnt at full health) and when he died in the duel he never came back

In regards with rag, not sure i'm generally on team 1 but seems like 2 is messed up, i think even the terrain itself near the rage is messed up (like iceburgs nor smooth or like they were cut off)

I was in a game with an incompetent pubbie as red, and he chose random mode, then unlim weps, then the timer ran out. Because it was random, we skipped picking chars and went straight to spawning.... except we didnt spawn. I tried staying to the first duel, but everyone left and so there was no timer. and yes i have the replay!! (finally getting smart)

Okay I found a pattern in the not respawn. It's so far happened three times today and in all three games the person who didn't respawn was the guy whos level was left off on the score bored. (1) (2) by their names well each game the guy who didn't respawn did not have that by their name.

going down the list:

The random problem was fixed, it works in beta4. IDK if your game was hosted before that, but I assume it was.

slvr, do you have a replay? When something like that happens, it is caused by a corruption of a variable, if I can see anything that happened in the game; that most people wouldnt notice; then I might be able to pinpoint what is causing said corruption of variables.

Brit number 2 post:
The host picked AR, then ran out of time to pick modes? After that, no one spawned a hero? This is what you are saying, correct? Good thing you got a replay; I will have to look at it. I have re-done the random system (which is in 3 places) so, there is a good chance I miss clicked a condition along the way on one of them.

Epic, any replay? Did a player disconnect during map loading? That is what we narrowed the duel timer thing down to. then I fixed it, and then I broke it again. (with fats as my witness) I feel this is prolly gonna be the toughest bug for me to fix; but end up being simple in the end.

Careful: so like, you both attacked each other for a final blow at the same second? And at that same second he also alt+F4? or did it ragequit AFTER the deaths, while waiting to respawn? I seem to be having a bigggg problem with the respawn system... silly... It is the same one that I re-made for 3.1 with a few minor altercations... I will remake it again and see if it works...



^^Also your conclusion I believe is just a coincidence. Simply because the reason the numbers are cut off, is that the width for the column is just so long. Also, everything on the scoreboard is just text. You can upload softcore porn to the scoreboard, and it wouldnt change any game variables. However, do you by chance have any replays? If you got 3, then I might be able to find something else they have in common.

After tonight, I will be gone until monday night, so I will do my best to fix all of, or most of these bugs before I go to bed, so everyone will have a better map for the weekend.

****Edit****
For the people reporting Rag quest bugs.. just wondering, was the -switch function used? When I created that, I had to change all conditions that involved, "All allies of player 1 (or 7)" and change them all to variable player groups. There are still quite a few I have missed; which will cause various bugs. WOW, now that I think about it... I can see a LOT of the reported problems happening because of team swap. All of the archon and elemental triggers were the first ones written for the map; long before I started using player groups, as opposed to "ally of" Those of you who got stuck at elementals, had you been team swapped?

Lots of replays of the same bug can help narrow it down for me. There are a LOT of triggers in my map... A lot of room for things to go wrong!

this is a very simple thing, no need for a replay: once you have picked your hero and are in the space picking offenseive skills you can move close to the wall that separates that and the hero teverns and get as many heros as you want.. Razz this came up a looooooong time ago, when you first let clannies test 4.0, and its still not changed. i magine all you have to do is set it so that you kill your current hero if you pick another one, or something like that,

Also fixed the AR problem

Fixed a problem with 1 players hero getting all of the "player level" buffs.

no more summons before game start

few ults can hit through ava

Uhh, found a problem with Rag Quest for Team 2; and I fixed it. Not to say the quest will work 100%; but I fixed a clear problems that had a clear result. I'm sure there will be more though :p
