Strange as it may or may not be, I was just reminded of what may be the problem for the majority of these skill problems.
For starters, they are all "dummy skills" which means a dummy unit actually casts the ability; and the player is casting a blank ability (or sometimes half of the ability)
My dummy unit is actually a custom import (to make an invisible unit that still exists).
I am somewhere around 80% sure that I never imported the dummy model, and if I did, I did not re-link it to the dummy unit. If this is the case, it may be creating a unit with no... unit. Possibly a reason why said "lack of unit" can not cast abilities.
