My terraptus build

Another build ive been working on:
You can use any hero but i chose the Necro. ive always been a fan of fast BATs. you could also you the Naga or other heros by the same token.

Skills: Chain, Hex, Stats, Terraptus.

Leveling priority: Chain primary then stats secondary while keeping one point in hex. Once you get to a point where you can farm and dont need more levels out of it then level stats, then hex.

Items:
1. Mangus Staff
2. Imbude Mail, Magic Shield
3. Totemic glyph > Gaia Staff
4. Set Armor
5. Mangus Cloak > The One Ring
6. Thief's Mask
7. Cloak of the Unseen
8. Panth armor
9. build up to Shell of the Mana Goddess
10. Immortal's shield

I tried this out a bit with some succcess, im prolly going to revise the item order a bit

beating a couple of losers with one lagging like shit and trying out a new build (me) and the other two opponents being completely against teamwork does not mean that ur build was succesfull... u know the build i said i shoulda used, the one i said is my usuall? its the same exact thing cept on the shadow essence int guy. i thought u had endurance aura or else i woulda mentioned that

Although I laugh at your build because vortex makes it useless... I will still offer some ways to improve it.

For your item order; After you get your staff, grab a magus cloak. 10 agi/int. It gives mana/damage and attack speed. This will allow you to creep faster early, since you are ranged, just try to max-range kite the creeps for now. It works great, especially with chain. No need for set armor so fast, you arent a tank. Go for archmagus cloak. After that, grab a tot glyph; and by the first duel, you should have both the gaia staff, and imbued mail. this will give you decent armor (not amazing, but 20 or so) but good attack speed and damage as well; while enough mana to have a decent terraptus cast.

After the duel, you should finish off your set armor; and make a thief mask. then, grab another archmagus cloak (for armor, evasion, and DPS) and work on whatever you want from there. Personally, I would suggest a combination of armor and attack speed, with some mana. Ring mastery+Eternal staff would be a prime choice.

Just remember that vortex will always beat this build, so you cant expect to win them all.

Ive made alot of changes to this build, but im not finding it as powerfuls as others ive used. Oh well, the work goes on.

I tried out a new version of this.

Toxic wisp. Why? fast BAT dispel magic and Stat gains, late game here on a lategame build.

Death pulse / frost fall, Hex, stats, terraptus

Mangus staff > totemic set > gaia staff > Divining Rod > Warrior's set > Shroud(while working on Weapon).

Then ill go from there prolly combine totemic set and gaunts for speed set, then auric(sp?) set. Ive done this build but not using htese items, ill give it a go to see what happens

get impale instead of stats and a frost staff, your opponents will lol when u impale, hex, impale, freeze, impale, hex, impale...

Edit: early on go for crown, and use impale as a farming skill with w/e offensive nuke u get, i prefer FROST FALL, due to it hitting air.

Vortex, Flare and Mostly Avatar pwns it 99% of the time?

Just remember, if they are melee, add poison strike and slow ward into the mix, unless they have endurance or frenzy.

omfg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES, WE INT USERS KNOW THAT MOST OF OUR BUILD WILL GET PWNED BY AVA, VORTEX, AND FLARE USERS, BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER SEEN A PUB USE VORTEX OR MANA FLARE, AND WITH A BUILD LIKE THIS YOU CAN FARM UR WAY SO THAT U CAN BEAT THEM WITH AVA ON.

Well, you can also random every game, and beat 90% of pubs; so what is the point of even posting a build, if you can just as easily go outside, role in shit, and run around wiping yourself on the carpet and couch?

most pub are getting better at the first 15 minutes of the game, like the dark elf with Avatar is popular. In fact, almost 2/3 pub game, eventualy they will catch up. I think most of the time new players cluelessly use dark elf and get really anal about farming spots it's because they came, they saw, and they copied. I am pretty happy when I see dark elf on my team. It means they have some basics and hopefully are willing to take advice. And, most of all, easy to teach them what to build. That means eventualy the general players of pub will wrack your build with Avatar.

im beat, once again. in that case i would change this to shockwave (u motivated me glorn) befuddle, stats, and mana sheild. most people wait till they have about 1 atack on u b4 they ava so u can run in and cast befuddle to give u some time. mana sheild is just a change from terraptus. all this would be on shadow essence. y? just because
