Just to clarify any match of chao may be posted or only matches against clan members? also what is the best way to attach a replay? I just got done playing a match in which i choose Space Orc shockwave/evasion/endurance/and death orb. d3ath orb turned out to be a complete waste of my ulti ava would have been much better considering the opponent was darkness with mana shield well played with stuns. but in the end my ally and I managed to narrow the numbers down to 6 for our count after only killing 2 opponents. It was a rather lengtly match but worth watching. *1.30 min*

Also i realize everyone is going to have alot to say to me about my skill build how I used the one glorn posted and if you watch the replay you will see how horribly i played my item build but ill take any critisim. its how i get better xD

and guys plz dont post here post on points or revamping its very hard to keep the rankings clear and it would be best if this stayed only one page

besides grunt and shaman do points get us anything at all? maby they could be a double edged sword and since this fourm is about chao we should get fourm points to boot?

i dont want you guys spamming my forum.. this is a CHA forum; the clans are allowed to partake in clan events and such through the forum; but with the rate of spam; it really shouldn't effect the rankings in a clan.

Maybe if people start making legit posts.. build guides, item guilds, posting in the "how to use each skill" section, someone might take notice and give you brownie points...

yea this was already thought about discussed and decided as a bad idea...basically for everything you just said. no worries we wont cause any more spam than usual lol

just thought I would chime in a little bit of an idea...

think maybe you should give players a general ranking? more points for beating better players? I mean, for the most part, it is people who have been around for a while, destroying noobs. And, though it is your clan, and I hate noobs, that isn't very progressive for a clan. eventually, bad players will get sick of it and leave. If you give players incentive to play better players; then they might accidently get better.

Yeah im working on setting up more of an intricate system however for now im still getting a general idea of who is playing and how much.However in the next week or so I will be able to more accurately give points for different players.

Yeah maybe u could go by points earned..

0-50 Peon
51-100 Grunt
101-150 Raider
151-250 Shaman
250-500 Chief

For every win is 3 points for every lose is 1 point.
+1 more point per higher rank you beat (Ex: Grunt Beats Shaman=2 rank difference +2 points)
-1 less point per lower rank you beat (Ex: Shaman Beats Grunt=2 rank difference -2 points)
If they vs the same rank they get no bonus or loses.
Keep in mind these are just player ranks not actual ranks in clan.
This way skilled players cant beat the crap out of lesser skilled players for easy points like glorn said and lesser skilled players will get a bonus for beating a higher skilled player.
i dont know its just a thought do whatcha gotta do.

shankz i dont think that would work cuz sum ppl have higher player lvls but arnt really that good. l abd just play pubs alot or cheat . idk just saying i dont think it would work.

I have decided that I am going to make a small change to the points system to reach grunt its now 75 points for shaman its 150 I will also be making some changes involving player skill level but those will come in the next week or so.

lol Dermie is double-valued as Jar? there is something wrong with this system...

well its not that dermie is better than jar its that dermie has put ore effort in than jar

see, you cant even measure effort into this. Someone who sits in channel and spews information to players is actually doing a lot more work, and helping the clan a lot more than someone who rolls new recruits with a gank build 30 times a day. Not saying jar spews valuable information, unless you are into smut; however, you can see how playing a large number of games, or spamming recruits to anyone who can spell every other word correct has nothing to do with your commitment or activity ranking within the clan.

even take sami for an example; though she didnt play much CHA, she was all over the forum, answering questions and being involved in the CHA community; without teaching people in the game, rolling pubs, or talking strat in channel.

^^There are too many factors to take into account here, and anyone who want to progress in the clan is gonna have to take the mindset, "roll new recruits for free points" which will make new recruits forever be in the "pub" stage.

Why not have something like the old "peon tourny" we had written up? Anyone dedicated, can take on a new recruit or two, teach them the ways of the force for a week, then the new players have a tourny amongst themselves to see who the best teacher/learner was. With few games played, there is actual progress among the players.

I'd be up for a Peon Tourney, I'm still in the pub stage tryin out builds and whatnot, but a noob only tourney would be a great oppotunity for me to test some stuff out and see how I fair against others at or around my skill level. Besides, I need the practice.
