| The raise and lower kill count CD used to be short. The biggest problem is that in most public games; people want to play for 4 hours. And, well.. My game was not intended to be a 4 hour game. People would literally raise the kill count up to 80. Sickening.. because they are the same people who bitch about field PVP.
There are few of us who wish for competition beyond the pubs; we assimilate in clan CHAO; and generally play private games.
I have thought a long time about scripting some AI. The largest problem with that, is that as this is Custom Hero Arena; I would need to write up about 16,000 pages to script a basic bot to cover most build types. 90% of the game is dummy units and abilities, that to make a single GOOD AI, would be a good 100 pages of script.
Though, I have considered making a single AI for the game; for single player games, or small team games. It would use the same build, and do a lot of similar stuff every game... But it wuld be able to beat most people. << If I ever get around to it; there will be a big announcement.

| no, it won't be done ever. that will just make more people masturbate to their ability to beat bots or farm in 1 player mode. | |

| If I were to program a single bot... I wouldnt rest until that bot offered ME a challenge. The bot would have to be better than 90% of pubs before I allowed anyone else to play it.
AKA, it will have to be coded in at least broken english; and move.

| Edit: { yes i know off topic from the thread sorry but yeah........thought i'd add this in so noone like Subz can try to give me crap because of it } hmm haha okay well if you need any help hit me up on it and i'll do what i can to help haha and well you could just put a easy little if statement that if kill count is <= say......40? or maybe 3xplayercount then take off the raise kill count ability or something like that that would make it so the people wouldn't be able to spam the kill count up to high and also another if statement that raises the max kill count if Red chooses team duels.........just some suggestions don't have to be acted upon or anything i just don't like how fast it goes i mean yeah i hate when the game lasts forever but the only way i've gotten the game to last decent amount of time that i enjoyed it without anyone getting bored in game was to put it to kill rag and have everyone not kill him......not saying the other team always could...for some reason people think end game items are better than immortal items....i find it funny... and Glorn i give you props for replying so fast that really surprised me haha | |
