Seems somewhere, we lost our way... about 17 times... we are going back to the old way of inviting people...
Do not invite someone unless you can vouch for them! If they have been hanging around clan chat for a week; playing with the clan (even if they suck) and seem alright.. well then, you can invite them!
ALSO, anyone you invite, YOU need to make sure they are being trained. If you are busy, ask a grunt to step up. That is how we used to do it; and when grunts helped enough, they ended up replacing a shaman!
though grunts cannot direcly invite; we also have/had a high expectation from them. If they wanted to recruit someone, and train them; then by their word, a shaman should invite them. Again, the responsibility would lie on the grunt, bein the person requesting the invite.
Throughout this week, I am gonna talk to some active peons about earning their grunthood through being active in clan matters. (invites and training) because we USED to have the majority of our grunts as lesser shaman and able to step up to a shaman spot if needed. right now, most of our grunts are immature, or just know a single good build.
