| *+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Strict Rules: - Because this is a clan tourny, anyone found attempting to cheat in any way will be banned from as many tournys as I feel like banning them from. - You need to sign up, on for forum, with your MAIN account. Again, if anyone has an alias, and wants to be sneaky, stop it. - If you do not play any tourny matches, you will be banned from the following months tourny. - Whispers show up in replays, if you are asking for help, I will know. No not let other people play for you, physically or verbally.
*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Proof of Victory: - You will need to email me your replay at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - Without proof of victory, it is your word against your opponents, and quite frankly, you both lose if that happens. - If your opponent admits, "Yeah, he beat me" then that counts as proof of victory.*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Admittance: - Anyone who has an account, and has been seen active in the CHA community can join. - If you saw this once, have played 3 times, and randomly travel to the Arctic Circle for months on end with no warning, you cannot join. - Pretty simply, if you intend to play, you can join. If you sign up and bail, you're banned.*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Rules: - Unless otherwise specified, rules for matches are "No Modes". - There are no rules about "what is allowed" during a game. Play to win. - With that said, anyone using a 3rd party program to assist with their win, is banned. Vent is allowed, so long as no one is giving tips.
*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ CONDITIONS:
If a players turns a mode on, and refuses to remake the game without modes; save the replay, it is a loss for said player.
If a player disconnects, and the remaining player has a lead of 2+ kills, and won the last duel, the remaining player is the winner. If the game is close, it will be a rematch with the same builds. Anyone found to be abusing this, will be banned from future tournys.
If a player refuses to play a match with you (Don't be an idiot about this one) often enough to make you believe he is ducking you; take screen shots, talk to me, do something to make it known that you put in a decent bit of effort to face this guy but he is afraid of losing. You will get rewarded a win, and him a loss.
Anyone who hosts a match for other players, and then uses "-obs" DON'T CHEAT! Anyone found to be cheating in any way, will be DQ'd. That includes asking someone in vent for help. Anything you type to a player, even a whisper, will show in the replay. you can use /dnd to prevent whispers. If someone is TRYING to tell you to do shit; and you don't want to get into trouble, announce it into ALL chat and save the replay.*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ You can E-Mail me replays at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Questions, comments, anything?
*This is just a general rules section, this is not a tourny sign up area. Anyone found trying to sign up here will be banned from whatever tourny they are trying to sign up for, for failure to read what is written right here.

| Is this a 1v1 or team? I see "Use of vent for team games". So 2v2 tournament? Or is this a general rules post for any cash prize tournaments in the future. Your being slightly vague... | |

| I think he is just trying to see who is willing to sign up. If enough sign up perhaps but most likely its going to be a 1v1. Its a bitch to get all parties on at the same time sometimes. | |

| I'm thinking having a cash prize will fix that.
As for signing up, I am not sue if I will be able to partake. Waiting to hear back on an application I put in for a University Competition in New York. If I get selected as a delegate for this I will be completely stepping down from the CHA community till May...

| Little Canadian in the big city! I smell a citcom!
And this is just a general rule. At the end of the month, I will have a new post, for a tourny that will be starting. These are general rules to cover all future tournys; so when I make the sign up page, we can all assume this has been read, and i will only have to type 1 paragraph explaining what type of tourny it will be.
Special heroes are allowed; because they are balanced within the same confines of normal heroes. The map edit for the tourny, is whatever one is public when the tourny starts (It will be announced on the sign up page)

| @ glorn for some reason i skipped over that section thinking it was part of your sig (sorry but i don't normally read those) however i was able to gather that indeed this is just a general rules page not a sign up page
though i was questioning if they were signing up or just trying to give you an idea of the general interest level before you actually start the tourney
are extra kill counts considered additional modes? (a few times i have asked ppl for games /w no modes they said ya then add to the kc)
do observers still mess up the kc (being in game or leaving during a game) ? if so is that considered a mode? if i forget about that then see in game its not the right kc and i say can we do this w/o that and they say no what happens? (of coarse sometimes both players cant host but there is the bot and also sometimes ppl ask to watch so it might be a 3rd party messing /w the game)

| good questions:
Additional kill count is considered a mode; why? it changes the game. 80% of players will pick a later game build to adjust to the longer game. Lower kill count is the same. It WOULD be entertaining to see a 3 kill 1v1 though.. Banish+nova all the way!
I fixed observer mode 100%; it doesnt do anything at all to mess up the game; with exception to the fact that the observer can type. Which is something I want allowed anyway. They can only type it once; when they leave, it changes nothing; when they type it, it lowers the kill count by 4 for each team.

| the general concept is that you should read the rules. If you happen to miss something that important, then you clearly didnt read all of the rules. The colored text should mean enough; it is the brightest color I got.
but hey, look at it this way; without me, fats, or jar in the tourny, it is really up in the air as to who could win it! After us 3 it is a pretty even match-up for 5-6 players, and another 5-6 after that who have a shot at beating the above tier.

| Reminds me of a paper test I got in school where it said read all the questions before you proceed to answer them and the last one says ignore all those question sign your name and turn in the test. | |

| I have a few discrepancies as far as the rules go...
As far as the "modes" its should be No Modes for ALL matches. Realistically, if this is a cash prize, it should be a universal setting for all players. I mean in any other sport do they get to choose how big they want the field/net blah blah. No. One mode setting for all matches. It levels the playing field for everyone, I'm sorry but if I played my ass off through no modes, and I found out that the guy who won convinced his opponents to turn down the kills then just rush ganked everyone to death I'd be a little pissed after I played 3 solid games straight through. Or if unlimited weapons were getting turned on and people rushed Doombringer and started 6 shotting their opponents. Any other game/sport etc has set rules that arn't changed for major competitions, that same should be for any event like this. We don't see football teams getting together at the beginning of super bowl games to decide if were going to allow half field play, double players, extra yards.
As far proving wins are concerned, if this is for cash, ALL WINS should be proven by replays. Why? because it shows up anything to do with cheaters. Im sorry but if we are just doing screenshots how does the opponent know if the other guy was receiving whispers the entire game? Maybe he'll just go on and think he got his ass kicked when in reality the opponent was being spoon fed by someone. I know Glorn this will be a bitch to check, but in 1v1 games last about 25-30 minutes on average, crank that up to max speed on the replay watcher and just watch for whispers and any bad business. Furthermore, /DND should be mandatory at the start of games.

| i have a request... could we make it so that all cash prise tourneys have at least best of 3 (best of 5 would be nice if they could be played out over several days) but it seems like having these tourneys spread out more so they could be more accurate rather then some rounds based on good/bad luck
also agree /w most of what epic said (i remember being a little upset in a 1v1 tourny when i heard someone ... not saying who... insisted that all of his opponents play ar) if replays are forced to be submitted is there any way we could set it up so they're publicly viewable after each tournament?
