| Lately, people have been... discussing healers... Claiming that some are OP compared to others. This obviously means than no one has ever done math on it. So, here is some number crunching on the average health per second and mana cost per second on all healing abilities in the game.
Math Example here, so I dont have to show my math on all of them: Hibernate: Level 7: 16.5 Cooldown, 240 mana cost, 575 Healed Level 15: 17.5 Cooldown, 400 mana cost, 1175 Healed Level 7: 575/16.5= 34.85 Life per second (life healed per second, comparing total healing to the cooldown). 240/16.5= 14.45 Mana per Second. (same as above) Ratio: 35/14.5= 2.4 Health per mana Spent (rounding is easier) Level 15: 1175/17.5= 67.14 LPS 400/17.5= 22.86 MPS Ratio: 2.9
Wrath of God: Level 7: 425/7= 60.7 LPS 175/7=25 MPS Ratio: 2.4 Level 15: 825/7= 117.8 LPS 295/7= 42.1 MPS Ratio: 2.8
Chain Heal: Level 7: 900/28= 32.15 LPS 360/28= 12.85 MPS Ratio: 2.46 Level 15: 2500/19= 131.6 680/19= 35.8 Ratio: 3.75
Holy Light: Level 7: 1400/31= 45.16 450/31= 14.5 Ratio: 3.1 Level 15: 3000/28= 107.15 850/28= 30.35 Ratio: 3.56
Flash Heal: (Done over a 10 second period) Level 7: 1600/7= 228.5 800/7= 144.3 Ratio: 1.6 Level 15: 5600/7= 800 1600/7= 228.5 Ratio: 3.5
Healing Ward: Level 7: 1500/28= 57.7 265/28= 9.46 Ratio: 6.1 Level 15: 7000/26= 269 465/26= 17.88 Ratio: 15
LifeBloom: Level 7: 666/8= 83.25 220/8= 27.5 Ratio: 3 Level 15: 1333/7= 190 380/7= 54.3 Ratio: 3.5
Unholy Aura: Level 7: 19 Level 15: 84
Rally Cry: (No mana cost, since you regen more than you spend) Level 7: 29 Level 15: 131
Rejuv: Level 7: 1500/22= 68.2 310/22= 14.1 Ratio: 4.9 Level 15: 3100/20= 155 550/20= 27.5 Ratio: 5.6
Tranquility: Level 1: 900/80= 11.25 Level 5: 6800/72= 94.45
Disclaimer: This is based on healing per second assuming you are casting these heals whenever the cooldown is up. this does not take into account such things as banish, the ability to dispel a heal, interrupt a heal, kill a ward, ect. This is simply the healing per second, the mana per second, and the ratio of mana cost to health gain. Obviously, looking at some of the numbers, you can see why some skills are stronger than others. If you can 1 shot purge it, it is going to be stronger. Also you will notice I didn't take into account holy attacks, holy armor, vamp soul, ect. this is because they are entirely too situational.

| So, basically what you are trying to say, is that the skills that cannot be blocked short of mana burn/vortex, are the lowest heals per mana per second, adn that the highest heals per mana per second are easily counterable. at least thats what i took from all of this. | |

| Hibernate + Rejuv is sooo op. I played a game with charge in B14 and picked those. Granite he had vortex and was able to get rid of my juv, But before he put any points into it, it was fkin tooo strong. | |

| Its not a big surprise heals are being refered to as imba think about it the biggest indirect buff regen can get is attack speed being nerfed. LOL you can wait its always the same game with new skills to learn how to counter or deal with or put up with. Because its new your going to have many going things are op or under powered until they either learn to counter it or how to play it. | |

| Holy armor at max level with a single hero with 2.0 BAT hitting you; the life regen per second is somewhere around 45 HP/s. This statistic ignores any missed attacks; as they are still considered attacks.
Tip: Get skellys and a speed set; then make your skellys attack you during a duel while you have a high damage reduction item. you will be healed for 200-800 HP/s depending on your luck.
