very basic shit that you dont know!

that's right, im calling you out! I have been teaching people who are GRUNTS, who have been nominated for shaman positions, who still have a longgggg list of shit they dont know...

1)DO NOT HAVE A FIRE AND LIGHT ORB! Are you retarded?! you are trying to splash a purge affect, and you are breaking the WC3 engine. Yes, it is a buggy system, and no, short of getting a job at blizzard, i cannot fix it! just dont do it.

2)FUCK FIRE ORB! Idiots with your precious farming orb, after level 10 it is worthless as far as the splash goes. you should have an ice orb for the first duel, so if you need an extra 900G to combine an item faster, you may wanna sell the fire orb after level 10.

3)Selling items! What kind of idiot only goes for end game items, or items that build up to end game shit? For that matter, who combines stuff fast?! Power set+set armor is awesome not combine. When you combine it, it is for the armor, thats the only real good part! so, dont spend that 1250G on combining them until you run out of inventory space.

4)BOOTS OF SPEED! If you dont get there, you are retarded. It is that simple. 400G, adn they resell for 300G. If you kill 2 extra creeps due to the bonus move speed, then you have made a profit. (see number 3 on "selling")

5)ARMOR! Only fools think HP is important compared to armor. Ever tried to kill someone who has 80 armor and 2000 HP at level 25? you cant.. why? because anyone smart enough to get that much armor also has regen. Good luck hurting him with your rushed eternal axe, idiot!

6)Ice orb! Anyone who doesnt get this as their second orb, is also stupid. It slows the opponents attacks by 15%, it gives you 10% attack speed, and it gives 20 damage. That is 25 agility worth of attack speed difference, for only 1200G! Even an agility hero cant find anything better than that. You are foolish if you do not have this for the first duel, i dont care your build.

7)BE AGGRESSIVE! I have seen dozens of "skilled players" lose games because they dont attack someone who is going for an elemental. A weaker player can gank him on fire boss, steal the essence, and win the game within 5 minutes. Really, that isnt being a dick, it isnt being a noob, it is winning the fucking game! If I wanted people to be safe when they were fighting a boss, i would have put a safeguard in!

8)Think of skills and items that work together. The oldest being wind walk and rejuv. Banish and nova. Just because there is a best skill in every category, doesnt meant that picking that skill is good. Nova+banish at max level will bring the nova damage from 1700 to about 2700 damage. Yeah, that is 1000 more damage!

9)Use fucking teamwork! Sure, you may carry your team for the first 5 duels, while yelling "my teamate is a noob" then end game, getting your ass kicked and saying "...my teamate is a noob..." HELP THEM! when me and another skilled player play a 2v2, we split gold from kills! I kill someone and get 400G, i sent him 200. ALSO, lend gold to allies in need! If someone is 200g short of combining their ring mastery, give them the damn gold so they can farm an extra 2000 by the duel, adn pay you back!

the only thing I am confused on is number 1, what exactly are you saying? they don't work together? it is a stupid idea to carry both? or did someone actually think they could both purge and splash at the same time?

as for the rest of it i know it and sometimes will even actually DO it... but i rarely gank people at the essences bosses and it is easily the most underrated way of totally changing a game

i would argue though that an exceptional fire orb is a big help when creeping regardless of level.

yes, exceptional fire orb is great for creeping, but i would hope that would go without say.

as for the first one... look at light orb.. it doesnt hit every time, right? so skills like poison strike can go through it. Fire orb is also magic, but has splash damage. I am not positive the game mechanics of it, but we discovered a long time ago, that by having a fire orb and a light orb, it may cause your light orb not to purge... We had a very.. very... long.. ongoing discussions, and dozens of tests, replays.. ect.. and though we cant exactly tell what is going on... fire orb makes light orb not purge sometimes. I have told... maybe 200 people this... it amazes me that no one remembers or passes it on...

When I need a light orb, i second wield an ice orb... I purge about as often as I should.

Ohh, and for the record, stone orb is the same as light orb, as far as the slow on it is concerned. If you want your stone orb to proc, dont have a fire orb.

and YES, it can still proc with a fire orb, it can still proc a lot. But sometimes, between A and B, shit hits the fan, and it suddenly wont work anymore!

Ways to fix it: Drop all your items, and pick them up again (excluding fire orb) because sometimes, if you just sell your fire orb, after having them both, it gets stuck in "broken mode" sometimes this may also allow you to purge with a fire orb for longer. but you dont want it to stop working in a duel when they drop slow ward and rejuv, do you?!

Im not sure but I think the not procting thing is mainly a range hero problem. I wasnt arround for a long time. But knew something about this problem. LOL will probably quit again when D3 comes out.

again, i will say, a billion times over... the problem doesnt always occur... I have had it happen on ranged and melee heroes alike. I have had it proc on creeps, but not heroes...

I am not positive as to what causes it, or when it decided to randomly stop working, but for over a year, we have been testing it, and quite simply put "If you are afraid of this problem, then do not use a fire orb with your purge orb"

im sure EVERYONE to ever play CHA can say "ive had that NOT happen to me before" But im sure about half of the people to play frequently, that use a light orb, have had it happen to them, weather they notice it or not.

iron gauntlets make u win, just thought i should add this in. If you're a dps int hero in a non unlim weapons game, get iron gauntlets. 50% ias, 350 dmg, 25% 1.75 crit, and 1000 dmg nuke.

rule #3: i dont follow this rule, i always avoid items that don't add up to something, with the exception of magic shield, cuz its rape.

I woudl only share my gold from kills with clan mates though, since most pple will not go through the hassle of actually giving the gold and lose "precious" seconds from the duel timer.
LEnding gold, though, I have always done.
