This song is from Robert Neville's point of view during the events of I am Legend

The once crowded streets are bare and grim
the one place i called home has gone away
my wife and kids have been torn away
so what reason do i have to stay

They call me a legend but im just a man
i may be strong, but i am condemmed
by day i walk the empty streets
and by night i struggle to sleep

its been 3 long years
and now our end is far too near
why did something so good have to lead us all astray
oh how i wish to be saved

Its been 3 long years
and ive yet to see a friendly face
oh how i wish to erase the mistakes weve all made

This stacks right up there with Xanadu, but it is a pretty unique poem.
It is a cento written completely from individual lines from Robert Frost poems.
