New Game

So, I am currently developing a new standalone game. It is going to be a 2d Side-scroller. I have the storyline completed and just need to code it. It should be done by the end of January.

However, I am lacking an artist. If anyone here is good at sprites/backgrounds, please let me know. I would like to start getting my ideas visualized in terms of character models/weapons. Ill put your name on the game (real or alias) so you could add it to a portfolio or whatever.

gamemaking is one of the fields i would like to go into though lol.

I also know nothing of art; what I do know is that custom art is gonna cost you an arm and a fucking leg! I also know that there are sites where you can get free art to use with various programs, or purchase art which is compatible with said programs. Last I knew, a custom 3D model of decent quality, being made and sold for a single individual was somewhere around 500-2000 dollars. a 2D model I am sure is vastly cheaper; especially if you use some that anyone is allowed to purchase for the program. If you have good concept and such; spending 50 bux on the artwork is a good investment.

H what are you looking for as far sprites? Is this game, futuristic or medieval fantasy like? Ive messed with sprites before nothing serious, i wouldnt say im the greatest nor the worst, but i wouldnt mind giving this a shot for kicks lol

Well for now I need a generic person. A base model for future customizations.
