How do i counter it? o.o

endurance aura. slow of ur own. convince them that fire orb is pro and that it stacks with poison.

endurance aura counters slow poison hardcore... and any kind of disable, get a frost staff it is really that much of a problem.

People think it is great; but if you can avoid getting ganked, it is an easy win.

Why? well, later game, they have spent 12 skill points making it so you cant run away; while you`ve spent 12 skill points on something that kills them. If you are stronger than them, why would you need to win?

Max attack speed is 400%, you have 100% to start, and get 1% per point of agility, the higher your attack speed, the less DPS each point of attack speed adds.

Maxed agility, plus something to kill them with, and well.. you win?

Abolish Magic would take it off also would it not?

ok but what itm gives that much a endurance aura to counter it?

Cloak of the Fox will counter early game. Totemic after that then Speed Set, you speed set will out much their poison for a long time. Gank them and finish it fast. For the most part they also have to give up an orb for using slow poison. When mid game comes out farm them and drive the levels up as much as you can. But abolish magic will fuck that up right quick as well...

dude... what are you saying... abolish magic will own poison? im pretty sure the cast time of abolish magic will make it so that ur opponent can get his next hit in right away. i doubt abolish magic even does anything to poison... guardian ward is a pretty good compromise, nice auras, though its pretty weak and it cant move, which sucks....

are u guys serious? just one boots and time benders is all you need... late game you can make the time benders into speed set if you want, but poison is pretty easy to counter

poison uncounterable? i really hope this is a joke... just get a frost orb and and endurance item and you countered any attack based kiting they can do and early game 1 pair of ams pots is enough to run anyone out of mana thats kiting with spells and mid-late game if poison kiting is beating u then something is terribly wrong with your item and skill build

the only true strong kiting skill in the game is the good old fashion slow which i think only me and maybe 2 other people use, and that is only early game, because 10%ms per lvl is crazy at lvl 7

yeah, im not sure abolish is a good counter for poison. Time benders are though; as is speed set. Even better, is that the increased attack speed you will get to counter him, will also allow you to farm faster. Poison doesnt really do shit to creeps. Sure, it is a little defensive, if you attack each creep, 1 at a time... but, well... HAH!

Just dont get ganked early by poison, and it wont beat you; if you have no idea what items to use, just dont get ganked, and you should win.

to be clear abolish is the worst counter to poison i can think of, except maybe carrion beeltes, which isn't fair, because if you can micro those guys are bitches to get blocked by

Touche, haha didn't think one through to well, it would work on the fast cast heros though. Frenzy does a decent job countering this as well.

Hey it could work on Prince of Light or the insta cast agi hero lol...

frenzy is my worst enemy it is such a rapetastic skill through the first 70% of the game, but i have seen only 1 other person besides me use it. p.s. if you use it on heros like MK which u said was too slow ull realize why unholy shouldnt be buffed

lol, main and off level frenzy and unholy ... you'll get out-farmed in a heart beat.. Although it can be dispelled from lightning/abolish. Few people use abolish, and I'm not to sure if lightning and poison still stack. If they don't well you force them to either sacrifice their misc. spell and take up lightning, or you force them not to counter your build.

no way dude you use a real farmer like acid rain and combo it with frenzy, you should do just fine if you can make it to the first duel, then get a couple immortal staffs and ur set

Fair enough, but where does Unholy Aura fit into that for early game.

And unholy aura would work on that build, if you had a 2.1 BAT STR hero; with lower int. Fire orb and frenzy will creep fast; unholy aura will keep you alive.

What is great about unholy aura, is that it is good all game. You can level frenzy up to 5 or 6, then stop leveling it, and focus more on other skills. So, you can go frenzy + unholy + blood bath on a lower int hero; or swap BB with acid i guess, if you have an end game ult.

I've used frenzy a few times; but I always gear towards AGI items, and it kinda shoots itself in the foot... On a MS build or something, that would actually kick ass... spamming int, and not needing STR, and getting attack speed from frenzy... you could just go all +int, and not die, and have insane DPS...

most people don't realize though unholy aura is storng early-mid game, its true potential is late game when duel last longer and your EHP just shoots through the roof, which is why it needs a nerf if anything

well, as you say to anything that other people say is imba when it reaches lategame: "just gank and end it early and ull be fine"

i disagree, i think unholy aura is worthless early game, good mid game, and almost useless late game unless ur just stacking regen.

does it go by % of max life or regen per sec? if its regen per second then id think its an all game skill. if not it would scale in effectiveness as the game went on, either way i dont think it would be useless at anypoint in the game
