| It requires two players or more who aren't terribad.
basically one of you get W/C the other gets Death and Decay. You both have banish and generic farmer, i prefer dual frost falls. as the dual starts you run in and banish and w/c whoever you can, you then turn on super sonic ring and death and decay the hell out of them. you really wanna max banish with this combo... after about the 3rd duel or so you can insta gib the other team if they are dumb. just an idea. | |

| Yea its not bad if you have a third guy you have him select whirl pool me and a couple of friends do lan party 3vs6 handicap doing this combo very devastating. | |

| the whole thing relies on the fact if you banish them and use supersonic ring you are completely invulnerable to them! | |

| Not at all really avatar+innate 20% chance to bash gibs your whole strategy. Whirl Pool and they pretty much cant do jack shit but die leaving the avatar mofo to fight a 3v1 very fucked up. | |

| ok in 2v2 say one of them does have avatar, you can still use super sonic ring and use death and decay? worst case scenario, you banish yourself and wait out avatars | |

| demon spawn and death orb can stun through spell immunity...
Death and decay hits through avatar (though is reduced by spell damage redux)
Really, this is amazingly potent, as the damage is spell damage, based on a %.
Say you have 20,000 HP end game. It burns what... 12% a second? That is... 2400? 50% more from banish.. 80% more from ... you know.... 130% increase, on 2400... ~5500 magic damage... a second... 4 seconds=20k HP is gone. With 50% reduction, that is still 8 seconds; 1 full cast of all the spells, and they are dead. | |

| i know invented this today and used it to amazing effect it was epic to say the least, no one lasted the entire duration of banish mid-late game | |

| and max hp doesn't matter on this build its all percent based, dead in 4 secs is dead in 4 secs no matter how much HP you have, the only way to counter it is magic resistence, which does work to some degree | |

| I would suggest, that for a defensive, one of you gets holy light, and the other gets slow ward. then, worst case, they are easily kited, and neither of you can be focused down, with banish+heal. You need SOMETHING defensive; because two skilled players should be able to overcome this...
also note... bombs, have a .1 stun on them... an interrupt, if you will. | |

| well the this is your late game, your early game depends on slow ward and running. this doesn't kick in until 2 or 3rd duel when you have supersonic rings, not to mention with w/c and banish you can run awesome nukes on ur offense.
i belive we used slow ward and bonewall, making it very hard to get to us. | |

3v6 i no handicap imo
jut like dota, the ppl with more creep kill are more powerful. look at it like thi
team of 6 ppl everyone get one spawn except for one player who has to either share or try to harrass and gank w/o being backed by creep farming
team of 3 ppl everyone get a spawn top and bottom cycle in between both creep spawn mid harrasses other team add to the equation the fact that extra player = extra creep and you have one overpowered team battling others whos only chance is to coalesce their skills into a marvolous offense it is obvious who has the upper hand

| yeah; the problem with imba teams is simply that there is no teamwork in pub games. 3 clannies playing 6 clannies, the 6 should win 90% of the time. Why? two if the 6 should be all pvp. 3rd duel=kill count hit. If the 3 ppl have to gank up, to 3v2 the gankers; the 4 others are still leveling from creeps, while you arent...
I dont even know how we got on this topic... But 3v6 isnt imba teams, it is imba stupidity. 6 is stupider than 3. | |

| Actually I think 90% is way off more like 40% or lower reason being the 6 would be considerably worse then the 3 players. Think about it are you doing handicap where all the players are equal skill level? It would likely be something along the lines of the 3 Best cha players vs. Newly Recruited Peons. I highly doubt they would be able to pull their heads out their asses to pull off the team work needed to win. But yea the above is true however you never know sometimes people can surprise you kind of like watching monkeys using tools for the first time. | |

| I don't think you guys give pub enough credits. I remember once glorn was testing the new koth mode. While he had some recognized name from either chao or BN, I got two pubs whom I thought was in chao or BN at the time. When I found out they weren't, I nagged them into learning the new mode and doing what I want. It ended up being a really fun and pretty close game. At least I thought it was. | |

| pubs are good, if there is a leader. I mean, 1 idiot shouting "KILL RED" even if red has the most armor and HP, they will do better than no one shouting anything. The problem, is that pubs rarely say any of that. The team modes are a lotta fun, and the skill cap really is cut short; it is all about team effort. A group of noobs, who all talk, and call things out, will prolly beat 3 pros, who talk shit, argue, and love pvp too much.
Best way to win KOTH? get to 10% health, and kite the entire other team in circles around their base, while your team caps all of their hills.
But, generally speaking... pubs are bad. | |

| Pubs surprise you every once in a while but more times then not their idiotcy shines through. As glorn said the likely hood pubs work together in a co-operative unit is very slim which makes these 3vs6 stomps so very easy and I can only prove this by even showing my 1vs6 stomps replays. Fact is decent players stray the fuck away from handicap games for theyre not to their advantage to play them. If they win so what it was 1 guy and if they lose its humilaiting. | |
