a few good items vs 6 filled slots

i have been noticing that the change to include tetra has hurt me a lot more then it hurt most of my friends
every game im in i notice though i want to get the archon items i never seem to have an open slot and dropping one item always seem wrong (i would then have problems killing said archon or would have problems /w ganks) i have found that im constantly makeing all my items so that i always have a full inventory /w a bunch of cost effective items of that tier (even if i just skip from creeps to lvl archons i don't find myself falling behind those that rush a few higher items and get some orbs for that exra few 100 dmg mid game because a full inventory usualy give better stats then rushing one item) however ... when i get to late game and everyone starts getting immortal stuff i start to fall behind any suggestions on how i can maximize my item slots w/o giving up my ability to grab those ess or archon items

if ur having that much trouble o.o just collect the 5 elemental essences instead.. yeah it may take a bit longer but its like 3x easier..

A) Don't let your opponents reach the stage of getting immortals

B) A filled inventory is better then one or two good items. The combinations of a filled inventory is crucial however.

imo,

immortal items are only good for supplementing builds late game when inventory spots are scarce and should not be rushed unless your using banish and a mask

ex. +1800 damage items only taking one inventory space and is better than two of the items that make it, which take up two spots

@ blaz im not suggesting rushing them im talking when you have a bunch of the engame stuff and you have to chose between tomeing and immortal items at that pointt i can usualy keep the lead /w tomeing if for a while and sometimes if i have a lategame build that can take up some slack thats all i need but other games when your opponent has shield boots 2 masks and is working on a 3rd i dont care how much you tome its not enough

well, imo

immortals items are better than tomeing
immortals items = 3-5 items + tetra essence + recipe cost
and the effects from the immo items are good too, ex. 100hp regen or 10k hp

some reg items i always keep slots for are the master ring or w/e and a staff of primarch
just for their windwalk and life steal abilities



ps. i almost never use tomes as it is almost always unnecessary

you neve have to use tomes to win... i never have no matter how late the game has gone. Use immortals essences and staff of primarchia. i don't care what items they have you will win.
