Can i be a bot admin? I am in Clan BN. I play alot with the bots, and i am sick of pubs choosing SS, unlimited weps, and other stupid modes.

Edit: I think you added me as "Vergon" on the bot Verti. The name I use on East is Vergun with a u. The one I have here on the forums was taken on east.

A part of me is worried that a few are going to abuse this power. Would really hate to see every single game where somebody insist on putting themself on red (I mean grey) just so they can force everyone to play normal, or see some dick doing handicaps with the bot or locking the bot so theres no more games hosted that day. Its your bot verti but I would really hate to see a person with a sicmade mentallity have admin power. (Dont even know sicmade just heard a lot of bad stuff)


Nothing against the top post ^^^ I know your not a jerk but I dont know half the people granted admin power and I would hate to bump into one who abuses kick functions when losing. It probably doesnt happen and Im just worried about nothing.

Tiz true, but until there is a problem with anyone, it seems to be working fine. If there are problems, someone, somewhere, will whine about it.

You do have a valid point that I agree with, but I think the admin powers given aren't... powerful enough to really screw with the bot to like, stop it from hosting. On the flip side to people abusing minor things, we can presume that since there haven't been any issues yet that everyone given admin is cool, which is equally awesome because I think to get admin you have to be in chao or bn; Point being, we've got a very chill community here.

yea ive had no problems reported thus far. i do plan on adding a line into the MOTD that says to notify me personally of any abuses, but like glorn said until there is a problem I am going to try to let people do their thing.

Sorry if I'm being a pest Verti, but the bot still doesn't register me. Does it make a difference if the V in my name is upper-case or not? Like, if you put in "vergun" will it not recognize me if I'm "Vergun?"

well if making myself red every game is abusing it then i guess im an abuser, nobody really complains tho and i ask everyone what modes they want every other game

nope thats more the idea, i would consider kicking unneccessarily, making retarded games, banning wrongly etc to be abuses.
