Offensive - Carrion Beetles

Skill Info:
Summons a beetle from a corpse
Max beetles is 3 per level, resetting every 3 levels
Bettles upgrade every 3 levels
Mana cost is 30+20 per level

Background:
A summoning skill for the offensive house is very strong in that it can share auras from the other houses, and other team skills. Not all units create a usable corpse, so it is sometimes difficult to get a strong army going. This is the most powerful summoning skill though!

General Info:
This skill has almost no cooldown, so you can get a beetle every time you kill something with a usable corpse. It is pretty much worthless in pvp, due to the lack of dead bodies, which is why it is such a great skill outside of the arena.

Skill Usage:
As with most summons, you should have some other skill to help them stay alive. While some people use devotion aura, I prefer ROAR. It increases their damage, regen, and armor. These little buggers can actually stand up to a spawn of level 20 units and do decent. Though they eventually start to die fast, them make amazing shield for you while creeping. At max level they have 1600 HP each, and nice armor. Creeps will always go for your summons first, so as long as you can keep killing, you will never take damage. This biggest setback with this skill is the mana cost. Although it is low, you will be spamming it, you can drain all your mana in 1 spawn if you aren't careful. Another reason I like roar with this is because in duels, roar can help your team a LOT. It gives you something powerful to bring to the arena, since these little buggers wont be joining you.

Do the beetles get instant gibbed by the duels like the other summons do?

yes. they are worthless in duels... unless there are other summons, and variously killed things... However, for creeping.. they are good!

So all the bugs die instantly come duel time?

I've seen it done but usually it has bad results.

no; summons do not give bodies. Furries do though... but, I will be changing that.

combine beetles with goblin horde is pretty bad. tried it by myself for farming. u run out of mana too quickly
