Tourny?

our membership is finnally going up and it feels like a good time to give the new guys some kinda motivation, like tourny with a lvl 30 code prize or somthing. so anyone with an idea?

Personnally i think bringing back the unique builds tourny is a good idea.

uhhh; we have a lot of players, but 90% of the clan is far below any form of "skill". There would be.. what... 4 people, including myself, who would make some sort of attempt at winning; and actually have any chance of it?

Wait until some newer guys have a base skill level. Or, a peon only tourny. Those have failed 100% of the time though.

I hate to say it but a tourney is gonna come down to one of 5 people in a clan of near 40.however maybe after a month of hardcore training it might be interesting.

I would like a tourny, but i agree that now is not the time lol, although i doubt there will ever be a perfect time.

Sounds like there is not enough interest. If it is simply a skill gap couldn't you simply use the handicap function to level the playing field? I don't know how any one ranks in terms of skill so I guess it's up to the person running the tourney.

An Example of what I'm suggesting:
Glorn vs. The weakest clan member
Glorn= Skill level 10
Weakest clan member= Skill level 5
10-5= 50% advantage over his opponent.
So -handicap 50.

Me and Glorn said that a while back, then all of a sudden we had 6 sick monthly tournies.. It'll happen again soooon enough.
