Dmg Reduction?

question: do items with dmg reduction stack with other items and/or skills with other dmg reduction?

i like the new skill that lets you take axes to the face ! but will it add on to items dmg reduction? because mid to late game everyone should have a immo sheild. is this skill still good?

damage reduction does not stack.

to prove it, start a single player game, cheat for gold, buy 6 immortals shields (1200 damage reduction) and go get hit by something that hits hard, then run the math.

woah I never knew that. so this basically means getting 2 shields is stupid? (along with other items as well, not just 2 shields)

+330 stats and +60 armor, makes it not that stupid in my book. Still a good deal cheaper to make then Immortals Mask.

so items with dmg reduction dont stack, what about the defence skill, Damage Resistance? that is a form of dmg reduction does that go with items? if not then its pretty gay because alot of sets have some dmg reduction and everybody should have immo sheild late game anyway. say its not so Mad

I think it stacks with diminished returns. I dont know the equation for that I ask around I have a lot of freinds who are mathcraft nerds. You know who might know that neurapraxia maybe whisper him if you see him online.
