Simple because dota 2 is coming out and once that happens shit is gonna hit the fan and wc3 will be near dead. So that leaves waiting for wc4 which becomes more and more unlikely to come out or the already launched Sc2. Battle Pack? What does that have that the other doesn't? If it's like collector's items bullshit, I could just buy the 29.99 one.

Blizzard loves to package their old games with the new when they do this its called a battle chest or pack for example packaged Diablo 1 with Diablo 2 in this case SC1 with SC2. Along with it you get an additional booklet manuel and a sort of sear catalogue to order more blizzard crap. The 29.99 is simply just SC2 all by itsself with just one manuel.

You mean 1? No idea there are some people who like to have the complete set I guess. Blizzard does it so they can unload the game and it works decently becuase people often buy it.

I recently downloaded Diablo 1(as an ISO) just for old time's sake, and boy was it boring xD
Still, pretty awesome for the time it came out =D

I bought the Warcraft 3 Battle Chest that came out because my old Warcraft 3 CD(I bought it the day it came out) ended up crushed by a car (no idea how it got there), and I'm pretty happy with it. It is cheaper than buying the crap separately, but then again, without the Frozen Throne, why get Warcraft 3?

Anyways, that's not the case with Starcraft, but yeah.

Eh ya just know somebody will buy it and as far as Blizzard is concerned cool we made money on a obsolete game rofl.
