Tuus vs Territo (85/15) (I give territo the benefit of the doubt, maybe hes been playing a alot since he left+ he could've cooled down a bit and started to look at the game from a different perspective thus sharpening his game mechanics... who knows+ tuus has been known to do silly things like random during rounds ect but if he plays any build i think his knowledge and skill still far exceed anything territo could pull out if he even slightly resembles his former self XP)

Yiff vs Hlwg (80/20) (Yiff b/c hes yiff and a total toss. also hes been playing cha recently so i dont think hes as out of practice as he was last year)

Fenixx vs Stomp (40/60) (I think stomps gotten better and can pull this off... he just needs to have the confidence to do so! just stick to your guns, dont over react but dont take it too lightly and you'll do ok. i've played you once fennixx... cant really say much after that though so sorry... i want stomp to win .)

Glorn vs Yourespondtoi - (99/1) (srrrrry roomie... your not quite there yet...too sloppy w/ item building and not knowledgeable about in game mechanics)

Yeti vs Careful (90/10) (Yeti's up against one lucky and skilled guy. I have confidence in yeti-kun's skill when he picks a build can pull this one off pretty easily though)

Epic vs Fmdragon (99/1) (I have full confidence that epic is much much stronger than this one in all regards... no problems there)

Shankz vs Venom - (40/60) (This ones gonna be a close one, but i've seen venom online a lot these past few weeks. Could probably swing either way and shankz has a very decent chance if he plays like he does on good days. he has to play patient and weather any aggressive play or weird gimmicks of venom. if venom plays like he usually does though its still his advantage

Konny vs Charge - (50/50) ( IDC i want either to win and charged could get lucky w/ a random. they're both asain so i cant take sides even though kon is a Chinaman, charged is pretty much an honorary Chinameneseian... if you want my honest opinion though, in the item building game charged can pull it off better than kon and if he randoms str or agi he could plausibly pull away with a win due to refined item building, where as since he is picking his build vs randoming kon has a large advantage in the skill department and is not so bad at building items either. With that being said this match will come down to 2 things imo, what charged randoms (most importantly the attribute and a farmer) and how kon uses his skills (whether he tackles yiff early, archons, elementals, hell even rag , or if he decides to play aggressive and not let charged level, ect. normally i think that these are factors in a game but in this particular one these will be game deciding for sure imo (they just cheated to eliminate the asians in this tournament. its descrimination i say!@)


I think in this particular round the ones with the advantage will be tuus, epic, and glorn. charged and h will take no skin off their own bones but the rest of the matches will be forced to employ a least halfway decent build

Imo since we aren't allowed to obs people should save their replays if the matches are good/close or at least keep a record of their builds so we can at least get a chance to view some of the matches.

Rofl I like how Piss and I are to mannered to put ourselves ahead of the other even though we both expect to win

I kinda want Stomp to win just because I'd feel bad if Fenixx knocked him out in first round of two tourneys.

Im waiting to hear back from glorn about observers, so for now, lets assume there will be no observers

Either we should have to post builds on the forum after we play if observers are allowed so that everyone has the same information about what skills people have used. Or observers shouldn't be allowed at all and as bonus it should be "illegal" to tell another player what someone beat you with inorder to help them out.

I am not worried about myself in general and I am not QQing but these are just things that should be done to make the playing field even for everyone.

Joox vs Piss-(50/50) - It could go either way right here. I wish observers was allowed cuz this would be a match to see .

Tuus vs Territo-(80/20) - Tuus is better hands down, However tuus has been known to play stupid or do stupid things. Territo knows what hes doing, his execution just sucks. However if he gets lucky lmao he has a chance.

Yiff vs Hlwg-(65/45) - I dont really play with yiff much...or at all. But ive heard from other people hes good. I think H could beat him however lately h has his head too far of CoD's butt too much .

Fenixx vs Stomp-(65/45) - Stomp could deffinetly beat Fenixx. However i feel stomp doesnt have enough confidence or plays aggressive enough as to where fenixx does.

Glorn vs Yourespondtoi-(80/20) - Usually glorn would win. However glorns been gone a week and who knows piss's roomie could be like BAM and just win.

Yeti vs Careful-(100/0) - Yeti's got this.

Epic vs Fmdragon-(95/5) - Epic very skilled, However hes been known to go easy on new players Soooo Fmdragon could win.

Shankz vs Venom-(45/65) - Venoms pretty skilled early game. And im still learning how to repel ganks and what not. Should be a fun match.

Konny vs Charge-(100/0) - Charge has no chance.

Joox vs Piss [67/33]

- Sorry for the shitty stats Piss, however you do have a tendency to lose your cool when faced with diversity or something unexpected; especially in tournaments. And just from playing with you both frequently and knowing both your styles, I would have my money on Joox simply because he much of the time can end a game before it begins, and if that fails can still pull through. However, if you do play it right and survive early game, and don't fall behind there is a good chance you can overcome. In my opinion Piss, you worst enemy isn't your ideas, or your execution. In many cases you're your own worst enemy. Don't lose your shit and think 2 steps ahead and you can pull through, you know what your doing, you just have to allow yourself to do it. Joox, just play like you usually do and have no mercy, and do not get cocky.

Tuus vs Territo [100/0]

This game I see one sided, I have not seen Territo on for a long time, and if he has been it's been to my knowledge in pub games and the like. Tuus isn't completely practiced, but he can still pull it out of the bag. Tuus, just remember the earlier you get 8 kills the earlier you win and thus the less chance they have at pulling an HST. Territo, well ... Good luck.

Yiff vs Hlwg [95/5]

Both are very skilled players, however due to H having to random the odds of this game plummetted. To be honest if H wasn't randoming my odds would be on his side, but lets be honest when was the last time you randomed 2 viable skills, a good Ult on the right class. The odds of this of happening are very small. For H to take out Yiff (God willing he doesn't lag out) he will need a workable build. I've been playing with Yiff for a long time, stretching back to the 5.4B days. He's a strong player when, like me, his experiments run correctly. That being said, there will for the most part no experimenting in a tournament match, even less when you know you might have to work for it. Sorry for the shit odds H, but lets face it you have a match you would have to work for to begin with, the fact that your going to be playing with a blinder really shot you down. Yiff, do something you know well and play like you did vs me the other night. H, I hope you get something good .

Fenixx vs Stomp [100/0]

There's been some controversy over this game as far as odd's have been so far. But in my opinion no one gives Stomp the credit he deserves for his progress as of late. That being said, I haven't seen Fenixx on for some time, and judging from where he was in his tryout and where stomp was at that time, extrapolating the skill stomps gained with the skill I'm assuming Fenixx is made, Stomp still has this in the bag. Even though I wanted to cockslap the shit out of him last night for not allowing me to test some abstract theories, it opened my eyes that I can't just fuck around with this kid anymore. As long as Stomp plays the same way he did against me last night he should be fine, your weakness however will be your Hubris (As you saw when you mocked me a bit then I came back 3 duels in a row) However, he does play off opponents mistakes and has learned a fair bit of aggression and map awareness, much to my dismay. Fenixx, I can't comment much or give a whole lot of advice because I rarely play with how. Watch your map and don't take unnecessary risks.

Glorn vs Yourespondtoi [100/0]

This is fairly self explanatory, @Shankz, Glorn may have taken a week off but that doesn't change anything. Let's not all forget that he is extremely systematic at his approach and well, considering he made the entire map everything is memorized and planned out. Glorn has a knack about being 5 steps ahead at all times unless an experiment goes down the drain. When paired with a completely new player, I don't see much of a chance unless Glorn decides to random. Yourrespontoi, same advice as Fenixx, watch your minimap and don't take risks. Also, if you have a completely mint build you were saving for say finals, use it now.

Yeti vs Careful [80/20]

Dun dun dun ... From my understanding Careful = Randomhero? I really wish people would just use their B.Net names on the forums. Nonetheless, if this is the case Random is a decent player and has pulled some great wins on simply randoming. If he uses viable builds he could be a threat. I would normally rate this more favourable for Yeti, but since Yeti's been playing DOTA constantly there's a decent chance that a strong player could overcome him. Since im slightly unsure who Careful actually is, or if i've ever played with him I can't give much advice. As for Yeti, get playing several games before this round comes up so you get back into the swing of things and you'll be golden.

Epic vs Fmdragon [100/0]

What to say for myself, as for the whole "epic goes easy on new players". I generally do in regular games, in tournaments however its no mercy; I play these to win . My apologies in advance Dragon, but I'm going to be playing like a complete douche. Hope your ready for it .

Shankz vs Venom [75/25]

This is going to be an interesting game, realistically it really depends on where the game extends to. Generally from what I know, Venom is a very strong early - mid game player, and Shankz is a strong mid - late game player. Unfortunately in match ups like that, if the Early - Mid game player does his job right, it ensures that the other never reaches his power curve. Even if the game makes it to end game, the former is usually much more ahead that it doesn't matter. However, there are circumstances in which it can be turned around. Venom, usually your biggest flaw is to take your opponent for granted (Remember that game we played when I ran shockwave/holy light/banish/silent night) If your hubris gets the better of you, you will make mistakes. If you make make mistakes, Shankz will rip them open. Control this and you should do fine. Don't go for a gank at every oppurtunity, just get the one that are very high probability. Shankz, watch your map at all times, make sure you know where Venom is at every second and do not give him an inch, because he can very quickly turn an inch to a mile if given the opportunity. Shankz, also remember in some circumstances the bigger AMS pots are your friends in the early duels, it may put you a few hundred gold behind, but In a tournament giving your self a kill and your opponent one less may be your win for the match.

Konny vs Charge [95/5]

This is the same situation that H is in. Konny is a strong old school player with a lot of experience and doesn't screw around generally. This would have been a very interesting game if the Steelers won the Superbowl, but nonetheless Charge is forced to random and this will not be a game in which he can pull off a couple of crappy skills for the win. Best of luck Charge that the random machine has mercy on you , if it does you will know what to do.

Anywho, these are mine. To make this interesting I'll put my money where my mouth is for the 100/0 games and if I am wrong I will random the following tournament. (If I end up winning this one it'll be 2 tournaments in a row).

P.S. This little bet does not count if the person A) doesn't show up B) Lags out, etc. It must be a played through game, 8-X.

You guys need to learn the basics of running odds you never put 100/0 that basically means all bets are off you cant win anything. When you got fractions that can be divided by the odds you give the smaller number. Another thing is your assuming each player has enough builds to go around or will run their best to get by the first round. Ask yourselfs going by a player past builds what they might run?

Konny vs Charge Hmm well I guess Kon I played him once last month nothing too impressive in that match charge is randoming and random builds suck ass so I guess 5/2 odds for Kon.

Hlwg vs Yiff ugh 13/1 in Yiffs favor has he gotten off that stupid chen model kick thing? Random builds as we all know suck balls Yiff has enough builds to get by but most of them are mediocre.
