Starcraft II CHA?

Are there any plans to make a starcraft II compatible version?

You know its funny you have no idea how many times Lab was always talking about making an SC2 version of cha and then someone started spreading rumors Glorn was making one the only thing I can say is not currently but you never know what the future will bring.

Lab started making one, but quit after a month.

After talking to a lotta people; it seems like it just really wouldnt be able to work how CHA does. As, in SCII, there are no stats, and there are no items. Everything would have to be done through upgrades. This would greatly limit a users ability to "customize" anything, or to even have a "hero".

I am sure in the next year or so, other editors will find a way to make "hero arena" type games.... And I am sure, if I worked really hard, and made the first one, it would be uber popular times a billion... but... I generally "learn" to edit; I am not a programmer; i just learn how to do what I want done; so there will be no trailblazing for this guy.

So to keep it short:
Someday, I plan to make CHA for SC2, if WC4 never comes out. This system is just so very limiting.

If in a year, there is no word of a WC4, expect me to be working on it for SC2. err, prolly have a base edit already, by then... a year is a long time...

Then how is there a DOTA?

Icefrog, or whoever is editing sc2 dota right now doenst have a life, and/or gets paid for making a sc2 dota. i mean.... i dont think glorn has a life eeeiiitthhherrr buuuutttttt......JKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJK PLEASE NO WARNING GLORN! IM SORRY! I WAS JUST HAVING FUN!

I dont fully understand why icefrog would make a SC2 dota though; he is getting PAID to make a platform version of dota, that isnt limited by the editor features.

All this talk about DOTA and SC2 makes me want to puke.

I said nothing of any amphibians, no matter their temperature. I simply stated that a friend showed me a youtube video of DOTA on SC2. He has a little experience editing, and has made several games from scratch. Of course, he will never post them...

i made no mention of it being impossible to to make games on SC2. I simply stated that I am not a trailblazer, and have no intent in making a game that is nothing at all like CHA.

In this dota, are there stats? How do they do stats? Are there hero type units? How do they make them different from normal units? (Sc1 heroes, had bonus hp and damage, but were still, a normal unit)

How do they do items? Is it possible to sell whatever form of items you are using?

Can units learn a variety of skills ranging in the hundreds?

On a diff note, i dislike dota; but how was SC2 dota turning out? Glad to see someone is attempting to carry over a map to the foreign set up.

i have played it and its pretty cool and i dont really like dota but anyways, the only stats they have are hp, sp, dmg, and armor. there is a lvling system with exp and hero abilities. the item system confuses me but there are items and you can sell them and drop them. i didnt play it much and i dont know the mechanics but i hope i helped

Well, if what psycho says is correct; then I should be able to make a CHA for SC2, without too many problems. But again; I wont be doing it until there are nooby walkthroughs on how to make a basic hero arena.

See, I code in GUI, not JASS. JASS is kinda, a basic level of coding that works across... everything. GUI is created to help people script who cant/dont use jass. This means that when switching systems, there is a lot more to learn.

And i will eventually learn that, sure. But, easier to learn things when you can just google it!

Why don't you make a simpler game that already has a base in SC2, just to get used to the system?
