| Just a scale down, i was thinking the game has a lot of endgame properties, wouldn't it be better to streach it out a little more, why not just scale all stat games down by 33% and move speeds down by 100 ms? just a thought, this is kinda releveant cuase of slow lvl mode | |

| heroes had much less MS when the map first came out; and was larger.... since it is smaller now, I could take that extra 50 MS back off...
However, slowing stuff down would make games much longer... but not like.. true gameplay longer; just, everything would be slower.
The game has about as much end game as it does early and mid. Early has the largest variety of items, by far. Mid game, you are getting essences, late game, you are killing archons, very late game, you are killing rag. In terms of skills; there are skills for all 4 regions also; pretty evenly.
I really dont like the idea of making the game slower; considering, a decent game, still runs till about an hour. A shitty game runs an hour and a half.
Hero stat gains, are really... not important, in all honesty. Their starting stats, MS, cast time (sometimes) and BAT are what actually matter

| when i say scale down by 33% i mean items too amigo. I feel at this point many people play the game like items are the key to winning instead of playing with abilities and actual skill. but i think the MS needs to go down all around at least 50 maybe 75. i just don't think end game is as fun or as challenge and honestly for me at least its the most boring aspect of the game, where as you are gonna say pubs love end game and all the noobs are gonna rage about bash builds etc etc... so we can skip that part of the discussion and say, noobs rage anyway. | |

| scaling all items down will take... months. Doing this will still make Good Person A rush to end games items A-D, and have X stats more than noob player B.
There will be the same stat gaps between players; the same various items rushed, and everything like that.
the level 15 skills is intended to take some pressure off items, and put it back on skills. Level 15 skills are better than any items.
This game is made for the public; trust me, if I could make the game geared only for the elite players... I would be happier, but we would all get bored in a month, and no one would ever play CHA anymore.
If you only wanna play early game.. you have that option. you can play an early game build, and do early game things, and win early game. same can be said about mid, and end.
Why force everyone to play early game? slowing everything down, would make early game more important than mid and late combined. I am an early game player; but I have the foresight to know that 70% of the community isn't. | |

| i know but since you took slow leveling mode out, i have become very very sad... how about we compromise, and put slow leveling mode back in! | |

| wait... i took slow leveling out? I took fast leveling out; not slow leveling.... I just looked. It is in the first options house.
I love slow leveling mode! It made you realllly think about what skills you were gonna level. Being level 16 with like 100,000G worth of gear is always fun!

| but i do like the idea the game should be based more on hero abilities, and what abilities you lvl rather than what items you get | |

| it is; isnt it? I mean, if you plan to win, you need a farming skill. You need to level and get gold to buy items. This comes from your skill choice, of course.
Items are just as valuable as skills; however, in a game, you have 4 skills (and an innate); and there are so many items to pick from.
The game used to be based a lot more on skills; because everyone got the same items, in the same order, on every build. It wasnt that items werent important back then; it was just that, you never had to worry about what items your opponents had.
I think to get the kinda gameplay you like; I would have to add back the option for slow creep spawns. the reasons that skills arent so important earlier in the game, is because no one fights outside of duels. But look at KOTH and CTF modes... I have slowed creep spawns! ~35 seconds per creep spawn. Well, you arent gonna do much creeping, so what do we do? Have 8 people standing on the center hill, kicking each others asses until somehow the game ends.
^^And those are the modes you enjoy; and what many of us enjoy; but not pubs; who make up 80% of the playerbase...
Want should I add back a slower creep spawn mode? Just to instill more PVP? Or want me to just add the PVP mode suggested elsewhere, and that will work for yeh? | |

| Too much text quick question doesnt slower leveling only stress the importance of items even more? I mean kill x amount of creeps for less expereince and you still got the gold from x amount of creeps this gold can be used to buy the items to over come the leveled slowed skills cant they? | |

| ^^Yeah, I was thinking that, but didn't say anything. The game is really based on items; however, every skill point you gain is pretty important. It really stresses all early game things. | |

| also something that might increase pvp is if you move the base entrances to behind the base where teh flag is and the flag spawn point to the front of teh base. | |
