hows my build

i have a two builds and i was wondering how i could improve them

what level do you usually reach when using ur marine build? static shock isnt all that amazing when its alone, so ur probably going to need more farming than that. poison strike is a skill you mostly get when you are going a gank, because of the insane slow it can give, and the marine isnt very fast of a hero which means that its not the best platform for a gank build. switch it out for a relatively low mana farming skill since the marine has almost no mana, such ass goblins, which can get you through the first stages of the game. the main thing about poison strike is to remember that only the stone and loihting orbs stack with it.

honestly, the marine build has no synergy. your farming skill seems weak, i would suggest getting one. poison strike and shock work against eachother, one is kiting the otehr requires them to hit you.

timmy build is pretty cookie cutter, switch out ur bonus skill for bonus HP or Regen, and it will work wonders for your farming ability and dueling ability.

avatar is a jack of all trades ult, its hard to suggest one for the marine, cause its not a great build and as u change it i could suggest a better one. for timmy i often recomend mirror image as a late game ult as it does a hell of a lot of damage, but avatar is good on getting you through early game with timmy

thanks guys. the marine build works pretty well cuz i rush scepter and totemic set cuz the scepter stacks with poison and the speed form totemic lets me gank and shock is mediocre and im thinking about switching but idk to what... als for the marine i was thinking about getting rid of bash as an innate and picking up regen and stacking armor?

dont rush any items no matter how glamorous they may seem.

you want to almost always try to have a full inventory of items; boots of speed, gem of true sight, magic shields are things you can fill up those empty inventory spaces.

as for the skill builds dont use static shock on a hero with a range like the marines, thats just silly. when your auto attacking creeps at that long of a range they arent going to attack you as much and therefore static isnt going to help you as much you should instead switch it out for evasion because evasion rapes face on str. instead of getting an easily countered skill like vamp soul and having no real disable to use in sync with it, change it out for an all purpose early game skill like life drain to help you in both duels and creeping. the marine is one of those heros that you can get away with auto farming because of its range you wont take very much damage and its a hard to kill hero so you wont die very fast especially main or secondary leveling life drain. poison is prolly not the best choice because the marine is hard to kite due to its high range you can just sit in the middle and hit the enemy from anywhere without really moving, i would change it out for the misc bash and that way you have uber bash to assure your late game victory. of course you could always change it out for the teamplay and get something like endurance aura or guardian ward possibly even farie fire get one level of it and no more ww or invis.
the timmy build is ok, but i would get hex instead of evasion because hex+corrupt flesh is just lolrape against bosses and pvp.

I really never ever pick marine its just one of those heroes I never set out to play a long range tank makes no fucken sense to me really when it comes down to it your a high hp dpser.

However I played him a few times in random skills that do semi well to where I can actually compete when I random his slow ass. The best random probably not the best skill pick for him Ive ever gotten was

Mirror Images
With Sprint

That worked out fairly well for the most part was able to get to camps at a reasonable speed wasnt a complete slow ass work into items and did okay for myself of course the people I was playing with wasnt exactly pro like but it did okay considering what it was.

Shit was off topic yea for the most part the builds look okay marine one might not work out but then again marine not really a great hero people can bullshit you about auto attacking but its one of the slowest forms of farming combine with one of the slowest moving heroes in the game dont let his excellant stats fool you its very easy to fall behind against skilled player no matter wtf you run on his ass.

Those looks like the two you used on me. I am down for some games if you want rematch.

and i went for scepter of holy and countered whatever from there

weak c on that build? uve clearly got that build as a sort of gank build, so you might as well finish it off with a proper hero for that. try the siren or banshee, theyre fast as hell and have fast cast times, which means that they fit the ganker part well.

weak c is a sort of unneeded, you dont really have much of a nuke in ur build, and unless you plan on usin it while farming to make acid rain pan even more its unnecessary. get whirlpool or doom roots if u wanna assure a succesful gank. if u want somelife then get terra, ur hero is int and terra fits him well

wc does help with farming a lot and it makes acid rain pretty good in mid game duels and wc with atma is 1 shot kill most of the time... i chose paladin for the stats gains though but i might try siren for it cuz i do gank with it alot

items are stone or lighting orb, and sword for the crits.

Swift Blade - Dragon Punch,Hex,Acid Rain, Crit Master


Occasionally i will swap crit master for avatar depending on how many intell enemies or the mood im in.

item build? strong agi/str gain add a bit of mana late game =]

duudeeeeeee dragon punch is so imba! its got insane damage and an insanely long stun. its my new favorite skill.


back on topic

you cant have a build that uses one of its spells to help an immortals item become more efffective. immortals mask is probably the second hardest immortals to get, after imortals ring. alllssooooo unless you plan on still playung with the public, you usually are going t find that at that point on the game people will have gotte decent spell reduction, more than enough to make ur weak c rather pointless of a skill

even with boots, W/C will make immortals maskk do full damage, and 6k is still a shit load of damage.

i just question the choice of hero, swift blade with all castable spells, why not go the ranged panda instead

because swiftblade kicks ass and the ranged panda sucks one eyed hairy monsters all night long?

swift blade is overrated, any guy who needs to carry a weapon that big is clearly compenstating for something
