| What is Hex? Hex is that defensive skill that turns you into a random critter. It's one of the main reasons why Avatar is frequently picked.
Mana Cost: 100 + 40 x Level
Duration: 2.25 +.25 x Level
Detailed Information's about Hex:
Hex transforms a unit into a random critter. The transformed unit will have the same amount HP and Mana and Armor as it did before it was hexed. A hexed unit will still have its auras and most of it's passive abilities. Also the hexed unit cant attack and cast spells. It cant use items under the effect of hex. Damage Blocks (Harden skin,Immortal Shield) is also disabled. If Hexed unit has evasion that too will be disabled. The movement speed of the hero is reduced to 100+speed increasing items/auras/passives (Runner is the only exception she can't be slowed below 200). Also hex disables all channeling spells. If hex is cast on a illusion/summoned unit, the illusion/summoned unit will be immediately destroyed. The hexed units keeps all auras. Hex don't affects buffs/de buffs. Hex can be purged or dispelled away so it's not recommended to use Lightning or Stone with this.

| just an FYI for 4.0 the duration and cooldown of this skill have been changed. Both are lower, so it isnt a solid 6 second hex end game, but it is still usable. | |
