| Hi Guys,
I have been craving some CHA, but my schedule doesn't line up with other clan members lately. I have also been watching speedrunning, so I figured, why not try speed running CHA. This will let me enjoy the game without the long wait time for a game to form and the disappointment of leavers.
The rules: The timer starts when you pick your ultimate The timer ends after you kill rag, pick up the horn, and return to base with the horn in your inventory
My best time with the latest version: 36:32.16
Feel free to post other ideas for speedrunning the game or your time. I would also be happy to get a game together.

| I tried that map and I would get stuck when the duel timer got to 0. Was that the right map and is there a workaround? | |

| Most likely that is probably the correct map. Worse case scenario there might be an injected cheat pack in there.
Getting stuck is the duel timer it will release your hero after 60 seconds. To get around that pesky thing simply type -st which will stop the timer.
Little side notes all the immortals are in this version but without tetra essence being needed. The items the archon drops instead combine with rags horn to create a +900 damage item with 80% poison and doesn't count as a weapon.

| Man, 3.1b... hmm, i cant even recall what skills were the most OP in that version. Corrupt flesh has always been gold; so that would be a good choice for boss killing. how was timmy in 3.1? op as all hell still? timmy+corrupt would be a good way to go. Stack immortals shields; they were like 60k gold each back then. crit stack of course, 25% chance for 2.5X.
I think panths armor used to give 30 regen, even though it states 12 or something; if you want free survival.

| Actually I believe the 30 hp panths existed only in the Lab patches. Timmy with the corrupt build is pretty legit though. Although -68 armor only gets you so far... Specially when facing 300 armor+ beheamoths with hp bars that exceed 100,000. | |

| I cannot recall the exact build, sadly, but it was either 2.1 or 3.1 where I was able to reach level 21 by the first duel with Siren. I am pretty sure that is a record which still stands to this day. Meteor storm hitting 2 spawns was likely a big part of that; and killing the high level creeps in the center portal thingy. | |

| Just played a little last night. Lol, what hard bosses. Still getting used to recipes. I used meteor to level up pretty fast, but when I hit level 40, I hit a wall of being able to farm. I didn't have enough gold to auto attack the creeps down. I will post a time when I have time to beat the lich queen, lol. | |

| Yea just played this map myself tonight to get a feel for how hard this task is. When the creeps start getting too tough go to the black portal or Yiff_Fox and kill them instead. Going in and out of the black portal seems to provide steady income of about 1100-1500 gold until you're strong enough to kill bosses. Also selling exceptional orbs provide a profit of about 1750 per orb sold.
Wow I just found out something cool you can enable a time limit for this map which imo could help out immensely for speed runs.
type -kc -t60, -t90, and -t120

| I did start killing yiff last night to get some income. I know it can be much improved, but I had an in game time of 1:47:36 after killing the college student. I tried to time it from when I picked my ultimate, but my phone died while timing. I will post a time of that when I can run it again. I figured the time should be:
Start timer when ultimate is picked, stop timer when college student dead.
Is the lifeless college student supposed to drop anything? I just noticed some gold. I assume there is no way to get the op item the lich has?

| He just drops gold no items.
Man I just had a really intense speed run almost didn't make it in fact. I put the -kc and -t60 command which litterally only gave me an hour to complete the task. With a time of 59:38 I just barely made it.

| I gave it a shot; i didnt realize how close 3.1 was to the modern edits; in terms of abilities and such. I gave up by 2nd duel. i forgot which items were where, what was important to get, ect. I think I was only like level 7 at the first duel. Been playing too much SC2 CHA, cough, cough, nudge nudge | |

| Lol, nice nudging. How are the edits going? Is it still an alpha or beta feel?
I tried it last night and got 1:35:44.07, using my phone this time. I still know many places where I can improve, including starting off using -st.
I will post a better time if I get it.

| Ehh, it is becoming a real game. A lot of the gameplay has been smoothed out. The majority of what is missing is still content. I have 12 skills left to add (for 12 per house) and some banks with a system of unlocks. Still a couple weeks countdown before I get there. I will make a big post when I feel it is worthy of your guys' enjoyment.
In terms of gameplay; I consider it to be a lot of fun. A game runs 60-90 minutes, a lobby takes 10-15 min to fill. Maybe a race to the final currently existing boss?!

| I actually do not have all of the bosses, or even most of them. I have the elementals, a guardian before the elementals, and a guardian after the elementals, to unlock ancients. The game has a little more of a theme. The bosses are like nothing from sc2, in action. As I've always wanted to do, they are much more like raid bosses than wc3 auto attackers. Their attacks are skills on timers, and they each have 5 abilities with validators and stuff. They run around, push you around, chase some heroes and not others. When I made them, I actually put each of them in the arena against each other one. And let them have an automated tourny. Nature boss took first (summons) and fire took second (a lot of dots). Good fun.
Ragnarok will eventually be the final boss. A problem in finding is game pacing. Bosses are challenging, but often times the game ends without all of the elementals being killed. This takes about 60 min. There are modes to increase score required. People tend to over farm until the bosses are too easy. Human nature I guess.
In 2-3 weeks I plan to do a big thing on my mapping site to get the ball rolling. I would really appreciate any feedback from the cha community as I build up to the big release. Specifically in that 2-3 week timeframe.
On the topic at hand, I can't get -st to work, do I need to get play offline or what? I've been kicking ass with acid rain Timmy.. Up to the first duel. I can hit 9 with it. Then I get stuck in duel.

| The -st command should work unless you have fake/dummy on the other side or something. | |

| hmmm... i might have to swap vamp for corrupt and see how it goes. About how much life did you take away per CF+hex cycle on him? Just hex, i only did about 7-8% (tops) per cycle, and that was with ~4000 attack damage. I cant recall hex mechanics if they lose all item armor bonus or not. | |

| BAM, got it. 54:19 I went with the sea witch and corrupt flesh. (hex, acid, tidal) hit 20 for the first duel. I was behind my timmy time when I downed litch; but got insanely lucky with a full 6 drops, and immortals armor dropped (like 1 in 100 chance). Sold 6 items for 450k, bought 3k int, and got the lifeless college student down in record time, dealing 20k crits. Final items: The ragnarok, atma weapon, staff of the death mage, immortals ring, immortals armor, immortals shield. | |
