Pure Summoning Brawl

Moments ago, I completed a summons only team brawl 3v3. The only available skills were

Offensive: Tents, Feral spirit
Def: Watery Defender
Misc: Goblin Horde, Skeletal Army, Guardian Ward
Ultimate: Badger, Demon Spawn

This game was so intense. Just imagine not being able to see yourself inside an army of creeps. We won. I went 17-3

How come you could use G ward but not other wards ?

Because g ward offers auras that wards cannot use. His other skills would not benefit from the advantage those auras give summons. and illure i would say if you want to use this build again (im saying this because you didnt specify) i would i put this on a long range int hero. id go with feral spirits and guardian ward and demon spawn.

You do that stomp and ill go skeles and beat you every time.... skeles>wolves if they fight eachother. Throw ina slow ward and your team will dominate the other teams summons garunteeed. or just bomb rush, but that shit is gay

My point was if your going to allow G ward in an all summons match that means you must treat wards as summons (in this case) so you should be allowed to pick fire ward, bone wall and slow ward as well.

Charge: Skeletal army + slow ward = Owned

Stomp: Stop being so generic and try badger or watery defenders granted wolves and demon spawn are both good but its expected and predictable.

If you really want to get technical any skill that summons a unit is a summon.That would also include demon storm if im correct.

(im not counting skills that use dummy units)

Wolves are not good for situations like these, wolves aren't good for anything really but single targets. They are 4 low defensive high dps summons with bash and crit strike, you use them to surround and disable a single opponent while dealing big damage.

I agree with Wrath, if one totem is allowed in all totems should be allowed in. =)

If I would have to pick something for this it would definitely be

Tents Slow ward skeleton army and demon spawn

Tents dps

slow ward just enough points to help skeletons trap

skeletons for a trap and some more dps

Demon he has spells and he is ranged dps

(this is not counting if i could use demon storm because if its legal vs summons I would run it)

I think fireward would be a great choice as well in a mass summons game, all those skeles would just melt away under a fireward, and with all the units all over no one could target it

Well if your playing team brawl it shouldnt be hard to grab exceptional orb of fire and from there on your builds down the crapper the longer it lasts. Really team brawl sucks donkey balls mainly because there will be some preset team and some poor sap gets stuck with the tome buying morons. You want a team build all get storm bolt and whirl pool g to the fucken g.

Epic: I agree fire ward is pretty beast

Didnot: This is hypothetical and its a summons only match so you wouldn't have to worry about other skills however fire orb could do some damage but I think a light orb would be much more effective.

wrath: my point was ... WHY would you go wards with gward. because wards do not get auras, it would be missing 90% of why you get gward in the first place. and i didnt give a defensive because watery was a given for the build. although you are right.. i have never used badger... mostly because i think anything badger can do, demon can do. except tank. but demon has stuns.... so... yeah.
charge: ha. ive actually never been a huge skele fan, as so many people get something like frost fall or flamestrike which pretty much fucks skeles ass wide open.

I would use Demon Storm.

Not neccessarily stomp, gward gives a huge buff to you and your allies. Dont forget this was played in a team brawl game not a 1v1. + gward gives true sight and a slow aura at higher levels. Theres not a reason NOT to get it in a team game.

Tents / Fire ward
Slow Ward
Skeleton army
Demon spawn or (Demon storm if its legal because it will crush everything)

Where did I say anything about running G ward with other wards ?

this is true. my apologies. i misunderstood. and i usually think in a 1v1 situation so shankz is also right and i am also wrong.
