whats the real deal on fire lord and how sometimes he drops the one ring first time he dies? is it random chance or what

That was something Lab added its been doing that since 5.4 when I left warcraft and the clan. Its still that way right now when I came back. I guess its because people feel the fire boss is harder and you deserve the extra reward or something, I dont know.

it only happens to me if i beat him before the 4th duel, and i'm the first one to do it. So those may be conditions for it

you need to be the first one to kill the fire boss for those items to drop. Actually i think it is a 20% chance for each item? or a lil bit higher
