I think i got banned for some reason.... I keep getting the message

Unable to connect to Battle.net

You may be trying to connect to an invalid Battle.net server. If you are using a modem, you may need to manually connect to the Internet before connecting to Battle.net

I can connect to every other realm though, which strikes me odd as i haven't broken a rule.... at all.... (you try downloading 3rd party software for this game on a macbook) So ill wait a bit, but blizzard fucked me over -.- (Maybe its from quitting WoW?)

You could have a temporary IP restriction, probably not as bad as a ban

I looked up your problem on google as well.
Here was one response from Blizzard.

Hmm.... if you had another comp maybe it'd work on that computer (if it only bans your IP from that computer you are using atm)

generally IP bans arent from your computer, but actually your internet IP that goes to your house.

If you are running on vista, right click on the WC3 icon, and click "run as administrator"

lol i had the same problem but i assume you can wait for 10 week or try to get a new computer, because i was trying a portable warcraft i got banned from that server probably like forever since i checked so many times but i got my new computer back and so i could log it in now haha.

Lol its merely a 3 day ban no worries. They dont usually ban IP but merely the cd keys other wise you would screw over a wide variety of bnet cafes that do business on those who pay hourly to game with their friends.

IMMM BAAAACK (it was like a week ban ffs... what did i dooo)

A week wow they must of raised it. A friend of mine got the exact same message or whatever he claims it was for VCK but I always had suspicion of him using maphack. Anyways he was talking about it being 3 day ban for first offense, 2 weeks for second offense, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, 3 year and if theyre still fucken stupid enough to get caught or continue to use such programs life time ban.

I remember Imdawinner would get caught w/ those kind of programs. bans coupled w/ his sickness made for a inefficient clan leader XD

According to Iron, he WAS imda. According to him, he was also 2-3 of the people that helped slayer create the map. Prolly got banned for being to pro...

LOL its pretty easy to pretend to be somebody when theyre never around to dispute it. He also claimed to be godlike at dota with morphed only to get wtf pawned by me playing geomancer (3rd time ever playing the game so when I was noob) me with pubs him with I think masterteacher playing Brood or as he calls him most imba hero ever. Losing with Brood in pubs= Hall of Shame.

wait what the fuck?!? iron was imda? really? and no he didnt get banned from kicking ass in cha it was dota map hacks he got banned for once or twice :/. I find it very hard to believe Iron was imda though... the whole deal w/ chieftain promotion ect... just seems weird since i actually didnt mind imda.

Ok there is something really wrong... after 2 days i got banned again when i am 100% sure i did NOTHING to break any rules

LOL um well play it safe when you come back run nothing.

Do you have an auto refresher? Do you trash talk too much? Do you log in/out 300 times a minute? anyone else connected to your IP play WC3? Have you ran any form of spyware protection? Have you tried to email blizzard asking for a reason? Usually they reply within a day; and usually they unban you if it is an accident in the system.

Ill try emailing b/c i havent done any of that -.-
