CHAU 3.0 is out!

I got tired of having to beg people to test it for me, so I am letting the public test it. I havent uploaded it to any sites yet though, I'm hoping I can catch a lot of missed bug before it becomes too popular, and do a quick 3.1 follow up.

If you need it, Nemo, accursed, soul_thirst, end, kon, and uhh... like 6 other people have the edit that is released. Grab it from them if you want it.

Any bugs you find can be reported, as usual.

Its out thats strange I dont see it on Gnome.

I think the idea is to let it get played a bit, get it exposed and possibly catch any issues before uploading it.

Do you have any clue how [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] works? Any game hosted pubicly will be there. So since its not there it hasnt been hosted pubicly at all.

Glorn, myself and a bunch of pugs played it in a pub game. should be there but it's a mistake on their part if it is not.

No, didnot, I assumed that mapgnome was just another site for mapmakers to upload their maps for downloading. And I would be surprised to learn that any site actually has every map that is hosted on battlenet available for download; in any case, I hosted the map a few times a few hours ago, so if MapGnome works in the way you suggest, then the map is on MapGnome.

Can't Believe I havnt had the chance to play this yet uggggghhh I want to get home from work already!!! ha

yeah, after I hosted it publiclly twice, I noticed mapgnome doesnt have it. Mapgnome is the reason most of my maps ended up leaked actually, someone would accidently forget to click `pritave game` then 300 people would download it in 10 minutes.

I checked yesterday, and it still wasnt up. that kind of makes me happy, or at least, entertained. Mapgnome has been having a lot of problems lately though.

MapGnome was the place to go but right now your right theyre having problems again and it will take like a week to fix is what the guy said or something. Any ways how long before you finally upload it? Do I really have to come to battlenet to go and get the damn thing?

I am in Delhi, but I can upload it sunday afternoon. I will upload to mapgnome and epicwar, and post links to both.

Hi Glorn, I've been playing 2.1 and 3.0 and hosting it as well, and I found, that for some reason, we can't get past level 18 or 19 at most,

It doesnt reach level 40 anymore, we can't enjoy skills at its full.

I know that many ppl have had the same problem lately. do you have any idea of why is this happening. (Happened to me in both maps, even if we turn on, Fast leveling)

If I had to guess I would say somebody probabally disconnected during the loading of the game. This problem also occurs when you combine bonus stats with random.

Or do you mean, you just arent leveling to get there before everyone leaves? I didnt change the leveling system at all. However, as didnot said; if people drop during the game load screen; it messes up a lot of variables. Some load with 8 players, and some load with 7 players. Sometimes the variables are given random numbers to substitute. you can get some hilarious games sometimes when people leave during load time.

If it is just because everyone is leaving; or you cant kill creeps, then you just need a better build? I mean... Once again, I made early game just a little easier. Also bonus level mode levels you faster.
