Slow Leveling Mode Tourny Sign Ups

INFORMATION:

The tourny will start on December 17th
1st place prize is 50 dollars, again.
This is a 1v1 tourny.
Anyone who has a known name may sign up.
Yeti and myself must random, should we decide to play.
Rounds will be 4-5 days long, depending how many people havent played their matches.
There is no special treatment, if I dont play my game, I lose the tourny.
Semi-Finals and Finals are best 2 outta 3.

PLAN AHEAD:
If you know that you will not be able to log on for 7 days a week after the tourny starts, dont sign up. If you are going to Nepal for a month during the tourny, DONT SIGN UP. Assume that the tourny will take a month to end (usually 3 weeks though).

Lol, slow leveling mode ... really ... but ya I'm signing up.

i thought the same thing epic, but would you really want another bland 1v1 tourny? at least it something that no one ever plays. makes you think a lot about your game; i know i have been since i saw this >.< im still waiting for a 2v2 round robin, or something team.

We should do 1v1 Line Wars just to kick it up a notch. Or something new and interesting... 1v1 Kill Ragnarok mode tournament? Just tossing ideas... Slow leveling mode really doesn't do shit, it just means you level slower and the game is 50% longer. The creeps still scale the same with you, your opponent still levels the same. .. blah blah blah. 1v1 KoTH could be interesting as well..

1v1 koth would just be super fast builds with slows. KotH tournies would have to be at least 2v2. Kill rag mode would be whoever can farm fastest and get imortals fastest, 1v1 CHALW might be fun, but its meant to be a team game. id love to se a 2v2 CHALW tourny. hell, id love to see any type of team tourny

We've tried team tournaments they don't work at the moment.as we saw with the 1v1 tournament it's hard enough getting people on at the same time for a 1v1. Getting 4 people on at the same time to play in a tournament doesn't work from past experience simply because we don't have the active/committed membership to do so.

As for the Kill Rag Mode, killing Rag is a bitch as it is now a days in a 1v1. Having 2 farm skills and a farm ult really isn't going to get you far in that. Sure you can load up on 4-6 immortals to do that, but your opponent who didnt go super farm and got a real build will beat you. Simply because he won't have to item up as hard. Trust me I did a 2v1 Kill Rag mode with this concept. Well, my team mate was there but he was as useless as useless can be. My two opponents went strength BB Mastery and SS on strength. I went Unholy / Holy Armour. They rushed a shit load of immortals and I got one mask and beat them. They had 2 guys teched to all hell with immortals and I had me with one mask. Realistically, it's the same game exept you have to kill the end boss instead of ganking your opponent. You still have to use real builds to win.

On a side note, do we still have Pro Mode in the game, from what I remember from The old map that made the map a bitch. It could make for an interesting tournament.

Or we could do a old map tournament, that could be fun filled.

i was thinking of pro mode, and dark mode as possible modes.

Slow leveling mode wont make a game take any longer... duels are still every 4 minutes. You will level slowly though. Really think about this; and none of the current best builds will work. Most of you will fail harshly if you tried to play me in slow leveling mode; because i already know the best concept for noob-winning in that mode... but, it will bring up unique builds, and completely change the way people think about builds.

slow level mode = mad early game.

i still think pro mode would be more fun.

i wonder how the exp scaling is gonna look like. i havent played on slow leveling since the mode came out so i'm not sure how much it affects the mid game as apposed to the late game... hmm

Im withdrawing, I just saw my exam schedule and it's fairly fucked. sorry for doing this but I need this month off. Oh and Glorn you missed Yiff.
