level 40 count

lets keep a running total of how many times we've hit 40 since the newest release, and also the number of times you've hit 40 in the current week (try to post on a consistent date). There are a couple benefits to doing this, but the most important I feel is it will give us a good idea of how the meta game is progressing. I'll give my own opinion on what the numbers mean to me, but this is a open thread so please insert your opinion or ask questions.

As of today (11/9/2010 1:30 am) I've hit level 40 a total of 4 times. Last week: 2 times (as far back as I can remember) i've played about 50 some odd games since i've been back

i've hit 40 once, and i believe it was on friday or saturday. do you want the builds we did this with?

I haven't hit 40 since, I can't even remember the last time I hit 40. If I dont win before then and they start stacking immortals I usually just get bored and quit. I hate end game, it's ridiculous. You just sit there and whack each other for 5 minutes and see who can stack life regen, stats and armour the fastest and who has the fastest BAT.

the problem with this is your not including how many actual games you played to establish any sort of ratio. I mean if I say I've never hit 40 and you say you've never hit 40 that appears equal. But my 1.5 games per week average is probably lower than yours...

I haven't hit 40 ever, i thought the max level was 32

ive played probably 75 or so final2 games and hit 40 5 times

I have been training yeti at STR a lot lately, and we have gotten to 40 3-4 times in the past 2 days.

Granted though, these are training sessions, and not the whole "I'm gonna slap you and make you ragequit" kinda games.

Me and HST hit 40 a couple weeks back. Wanted to test mana regen on MS vs life regen on insane armor. Life regen won, by a lot.

i think i have hit 40 like twice in pubs... and never in a serious game/clan game

on another seperately serious note, how are lvl 5 ults? imba as shit?

they are actually pretty alright... not as large of a swing as the lvl 15s are... they are pretty... balanced...

its easy to say they are balanced when they haven't been rigorously tested XD

IMO, the farming ults are underpowered, but not shitty. I think whirlpool and death orb are pretty high on the list for OP though. Demon spawn is a lot of fun; but you need auroric set to make him REALLY fun!

Most of your stuns are on the op side. Just been a victim of triple storm bolt level 15 its no walk in the park. Then again it didn't help that my allies were not too good at this game. Let's see since the final edit I hit 40 about 20 some odd times. A good deal of those times were because I wasn't playing normal mode. Team Brawl and Gladiator are automatic level 40 modes. Plant the Bomb and Koth are semi easy to reach 40 before the game ends. So not counting those about 5 times.

It isnt OP that 3 people using the best CD/Stun ratio'd abilitiy in the game manage to stunlock you. If you managed to beat that with anything but avatar and supersonic ring; I would have to seriously consider buffing single target stuns ^_^

divine shield owns all projectile attacks... it actually owns every late game cast but soulburn and hex, keep it lvl 1 and ur cd is better than anyone elses
